Welcome to Food Consulting Services
Food Consulting Services is an independent, professional hygiene, microbiology and food testing laboratory, which was established in 1977. The aim is to form a strong partnership with all our clients and help them implement quality assurance, hygiene systems and good manufacturing practices (GMP) within their food production facilities.
To do this we offer a comprehensive range of testing and consulting services, including chemistry of foodstuffs, detergents and cosmetics, microbiology for foodstuffs and cosmetics, physical evaluations and sensory panel testing. We can also assist on site by means of our Technical Surveys (hygiene audits), GMP audits and professional consulting.
Although we are based in Midrand, Gauteng, our consultants travel across the entire country and into all the neighbouring states to collect samples, conduct audits and give advice. Thus, we are able to assist you wherever you are in Southern Africa.
